Every PDF or Excel file generated through FormaMail is logged with metadata, generation time, and download links.

Actions
- Download: Get the generated file
- View Details: See generation metadata
- Regenerate: Create again with same data
- Delete: Remove from logs
Filtering
- Date range: Filter by generation date
- Template: Filter by specific template
- Format: PDF or Excel only
- Status: Success or failed only
Bulk Operations
Select multiple attachments to:
- Download as ZIP: Get all selected files
- Delete: Remove from logs
- Regenerate: Create all again
Details View
Click any attachment to see:
- Template used
- Generation timestamp
- File size and format
- Input data/variables
- Error details (if failed)
- Download link
Retention
Generated attachments are stored for 30 days by default. After this period, download links expire but attachment logs remain for reference. Contact us if you need custom retention periods for your organization.
Common Questions
How long does generation take?
- PDF: 2-10 seconds (depends on complexity)
- Excel: 1-5 seconds
Can I regenerate old attachments?
Yes, if you have the original data. Click Regenerate in the details view.
What’s the maximum file size?
- PDF: 10 MB
- Excel: 5 MB
